The Begenning ( 1920 – 1947)

The inception of this unique fine dining experience dates back in Peshawar in British India in 1920

The Kick Start ( 1970 – 2000)

Gujral served his iconic dishes, butter chicken, Dal makhani, Chicken Pakora, Mutton Burrah here in moti Mahal Daryaganj Delhi.

The Spark ( 1947 – 1970 )

When India partitioned in 1947, Gujral moved to Delhi and Started Moti Mahal is his new home city, Darya Ganj.

The Modern Era ( 2000-Present)

Under his Chieftain, Moti Mahal has expanded to an empire with its own brands such as Moti Mahal, China Wall, malabar Cafe, Hoo’d Terrace Lounge
